Portraits (Oils):
To commission an oil portrait, please contact me to discuss your requirements in full detail. The normal process is as follows:
1. You will be required to email or post a good photograph.
2. At least one or two sittings is recommended to allow me to meet you and understand the structure of your face and characteristics which will be captured in the painting. With a fee, it can be possible for me to travel to you or meet at a mutually convenient location.
3. The first sitting will allow me to begin with an initial sketch.
4. The second/final sitting will allow me the opportunity to add any additional features before the painting is completed.
5. On completion of the portrait you will be given the opportunity to view the final product before you commit to purchase.
I will post your portrait on my website for you to browse and will email you accordingly.
NOTE: You are under no obligation to buy the portrait, but will be expected to pay a 10% deposit before work commences. If you do not purchase your portrait, I retain all rights to the finished article.
The cost of the portrait will be dependant upon size and does not include travelling expenses. Please allow a minimum of 3 months for completion. Contact me to discuss further.
Portraits (Pencil/Pastel):
To commission a Pencil/Pastel portrait, please contact me to discuss your requirements in full detail. The normal process is as follows:
1. You will be required to email or post a good photograph.
2. For pencil/pastel portraits a sitting is not required.
3. On completion of the portrait, you will be given the opportunity to view the final product before you commit to purchase. I
will post your portrait on my website for you to browse and will email you accordingly.
NOTE: You are under no obligation to buy the portrait, however if you do not purchase your portrait I retain all rights to the finished article. Please allow a minimum of one month for completion.
The cost of a pencil/pastel portrait is £100. Contact me to discuss further.
